He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PHOENIX SC reached it. Robert Prosinečki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ray Clemence having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Dadá D Agostino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Pepe Pancho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 29 minutes into the match, Challestone S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Hendrickx came free, but Pepe Pancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zayvion Coro charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zayvion Coro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Holin Probohudono left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PHOENIX SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Challestone S.C.'s Pepe Pancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lilcho Ilchov in the 35th minute of play. Robert Prosinečki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Ray Clemence made a huge save. After 48 minutes PHOENIX SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yan Yuan who took care of the corner kick. After the first half PHOENIX SC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
