Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Duarte de Castro made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, U21 Brazil's Duda Mota got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After some careless play in the Straedelburgh defense, Guilherme Souza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aderbal Santos. The Straedelburgh fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aderbal Santos should have stopped the shot. Aderbal Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Souza in the 13th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Duarte de Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U21 Brazil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Straedelburgh the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Straedelburgh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Vilas Boas to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Guilherme Souza notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Straedelburgh's Aderbal Santos. Aderbal Santos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, U21 Brazil's Duarte de Castro got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute Marcos Vilas Boas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigio Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34thth minute of the game Marcos Vilas Boas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Brazil's Gigio Buffon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guilherme Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aderbal Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Straedelburgh made a substitution. Dennis Di Federico replaced Marcos Vilas Boas. Gigio Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Michael Helström in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute Guilherme Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aderbal Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. U21 Brazil's Gigio Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Pinheiro in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Duarte de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Santos Txaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 minutes, Kléberson Mazza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Brazil and the Straedelburgh players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Straedelburgh booed when U21 Brazil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléberson Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 played minutes, Straedelburgh's Caco Araújo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gigio Buffon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Straedelburgh reached it. Gigio Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Gigio Buffon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sílvio Ferrão went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Gigio Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Michael Helström in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Straedelburgh booed when U21 Brazil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléberson Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, U21 Brazil's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Di Federico came free, but Gigio Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by João Pedro Arce got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 91 minutes of play, Straedelburgh's Richard Pinheiro made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gigio Buffon was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to U21 Brazil getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. João Pedro Arce hit a great ball. Gigio Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Ferrão, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the referee ended the match the Straedelburgh players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
