Pitman FC's Marcos Lorien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Eudoxio in the 88th minute of play. With a little luck, Dionisia's Serafim Eanes got control of the ball when Vladimiro Figueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Pitman FC defense, Nemesio Eudoxio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Lorien. The Pitman FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Lorien should have stopped the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pitman FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
