An unexpectedly hard shot by Xulio Bermudez in the 3rd minute of play forced Caldebrazza's goalkeeper Alessandro Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Roberto Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Hossam Nadolski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alessandro Linares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abad Mezquita, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Alessandro Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xulio Bermudez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roch Pliszka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Hossam Nadolski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute Xulio Bermudez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alessandro Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 余宽冰 in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Xavier Sabrosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caldebrazza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The supporters of Caldebrazza booed when Souston C.F was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xulio Bermudez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute Xavier Sabrosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hossam Nadolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 minutes of play, Caldebrazza's Hubertas Dabkevičius made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hossam Nadolski was left in no man's land by his defense there! 47 minutes into the game, Souston C.F's Xulio Bermudez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alessandro Linares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xulio Bermudez to make the kick off. Luís Paulo Faria charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Paulo Faria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes Caldebrazza got a freekick which was hit by Luís Paulo Faria. In the 66th minute, Caldebrazza's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Xulio Bermudez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Caldebrazza's Alessandro Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Ricoy in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geraldo Sousa in the 73rd minute of play forced Souston C.F's goalkeeper Hossam Nadolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hossam Nadolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Sabrosa in the 76th minute of play. Geraldo Sousa struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Hossam Nadolski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caldebrazza. Anísio Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Xulio Bermudez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alessandro Linares firmly grabbed it by the left post. Caldebrazza's Hubertas Dabkevičius got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
