Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Todd Gronow kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Todd Gronow got free with Santiago Gaizko in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute of the match, Todd Gronow tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Santiago Gaizko saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Enzo Cope made a great header on Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's corner, it was just that Atlético Zelaya's Santiago Gaizko managed to reach the ball for a save. Todd Gronow took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santiago Gaizko. Santiago Gaizko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Todd Gronow in the 33rd minute of play forced Atlético Zelaya's goalkeeper Santiago Gaizko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zhuo Bo Bo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Gaizko having to interfere. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Abelardo Janpier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Riquelme in the 40th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Astor Giampietro to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Abelardo Janpier got control of the ball when Jacobo Abechuco tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC booed when Atlético Zelaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Erroman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Zelaya's zone, Enzo Cope stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Gaizko came out of the goal and Enzo Cope tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Todd Gronow in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlético Zelaya's goalie prevented a goal. In the 61st minute Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC were awarded a corner. Enzo Cope went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Enzo Cope almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Atlético Zelaya's Santiago Gaizko did a great save. Abelardo Janpier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Riquelme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edelmiro Erroman charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edelmiro Erroman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 played minutes Atlético Zelaya got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Erroman. 69 minutes into the match, Atlético Zelaya's goal looked a bit too open when Todd Gronow came free, but Santiago Gaizko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Todd Gronow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Abelardo Janpier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Riquelme in the 75th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Atlético Zelaya's goal looked a bit too open when Mariusz Ratulowski came free, but Santiago Gaizko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santiago Gaizko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariusz Ratulowski in the 85th minute of play. When Jacobo Abechuco fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Zelaya's protests and gave Jacobo Abechuco a yellow card for diving instead. Jacobo Abechuco kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Mariusz Ratulowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Gaizko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ildefonso Foro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
