Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marcel da Rocha kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling M. Agus Young in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Braulio Gartxot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 6 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's M. Agus Young sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Braulio Gartxot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kong Chang Zheng hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel da Rocha came free, but Norberto Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Marcel da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Tino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Marcel da Rocha made a precise shot to the right of Norberto Tino. Santa Lucia de Merlo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Norberto Tino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel da Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by M. Agus Young in the 31st minute of play forced Red Devils's goalkeeper Braulio Gartxot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simone Spano hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Red Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Pascal Som came free, but Braulio Gartxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Santa Lucia de Merlo's Norberto Tino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel da Rocha in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute of the match Red Devils got a corner. Santa Lucia de Merlo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sotos Zervoulakos ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Slawomir Trzaskoma managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Braulio Gartxot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from M. Agus Young, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Polo Quinteros was substituted for M. Agus Young. Norberto Tino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kazimierz Deyna in the 72nd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Santa Lucia de Merlo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Red Devils had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
