With a little luck, ATILA's Placido Matro got control of the ball when Ezequiel Ortiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Placido Matro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ezequiel Ortiz's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Torreão OFF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kaur Laving in the 15th minute. Ján Griščík was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 17th minute of the match, Duarte Coelho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Placido Matro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 23 minutes, Ezequiel Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torreão OFF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel Ortiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ezequiel Ortiz made a kick off. Clemente Lope made in the 51st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Thomas Kostakos however managed to control. Ezequiel Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Placido Matro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Genadi Kotrulevs short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Zézinho Freitas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Torreão OFF getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ezequiel Ortiz hit a great ball. The supporters of ATILA booed when Torreão OFF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Lope hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Ortiz in the 64th minute of play forced ATILA's goalkeeper Placido Matro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Placido Matro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Ortiz in the 67th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Torreão OFF's Ezequiel Ortiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
