Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vitório Lago started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Celsinho Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lev Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Palestra do Interior's Vitório Lago slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lev Yashin. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Allan Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens Van Dessel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th match minute, LUPO f.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haarald Sauna to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute Haarald Sauna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vitório Lago had several of the LUPO f.c's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 26 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Lev Yashin as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Percival Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute Jens Van Dessel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Vitório Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palestra do Interior's supporters rose to their feet, but Vitório Lago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lev Yashin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vitório Lago blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lev Yashin having to make a save. With a little luck, LUPO f.c's Lev Yashin got control of the ball when Vitório Lago tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute, Vitório Lago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lev Yashin was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 38th minute, Miromir Misiorowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, LUPO f.c's Lev Yashin got control of the ball when Vitório Lago tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jens Van Dessel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Vitório Lago left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palestra do Interior fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 57th minute of the match Jorginho Ferreira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lev Yashin skillfully saved the ball. 64 minutes into the match, LUPO f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Vitório Lago came free, but Lev Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. Fang Guang Bang replaced Niclas Danielsson. In the 75th match minute, LUPO f.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Valiente to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's goal looked a bit too open when Jens Van Dessel came free, but Allan Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vitório Lago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lev Yashin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. 韩默克 replaced Vitório Lago. In the 85th minute, Miromir Misiorowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by 韩默克 in the 90th minute of play forced LUPO f.c's goalkeeper Lev Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LUPO f.c's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
