In the 5th minute, Marcel da Rocha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Norberto Tino. The goal made the score 1-0. Marcel da Rocha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norberto Tino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's goalkeeper Norberto Tino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcel da Rocha. Kazimierz Deyna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Braulio Gartxot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from M. Agus Young, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Santa Lucia de Merlo's zone, Marcel da Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Tino came out of the goal and Marcel da Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Simone Spano took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Norberto Tino to make any attempt to save it. Norberto Tino made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Simone Spano sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Marcel da Rocha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norberto Tino was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Santa Lucia de Merlo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. With a little luck, Red Devils's Braulio Gartxot got control of the ball when Levan Poggenborg tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Santa Lucia de Merlo defense, Simone Spano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norberto Tino. The Santa Lucia de Merlo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norberto Tino should have stopped the shot. Norberto Tino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simone Spano in the 60th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Marcel da Rocha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norberto Tino was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. 67 minutes into the match, Simone Spano notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Santa Lucia de Merlo's Norberto Tino. The corner was taken by Simone Spano in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's goal looked a bit too open when Kazimierz Deyna came free, but Norberto Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Norberto Tino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simone Spano in the 81st minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Polo Quinteros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Braulio Gartxot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Simone Spano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Norberto Tino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Red Devils walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
