With his leg Israel Oliverio managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Gärsnäs BF's Timmy Ahlberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Karl-Johan Magnusson's late challenge caught a Rincón de los Sauces AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Johan Magnusson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rincón de los Sauces AFC booed when Gärsnäs BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Johan Magnusson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Santiago Di María hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 played minutes Gärsnäs BF got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Nyqvist. 24 minutes into the match, Gärsnäs BF's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Javiar came free, but Wang Cheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute of the match Rincón de los Sauces AFC got a corner. Gärsnäs BF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Augusto Haritzeder ran over to the corner to take the kick. With an all-out effort, Gärsnäs BF's Israel Oliverio threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ingvar Nyqvist, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Wang Cheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Jerold, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Rincón de los Sauces AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Nyqvist came free, but Israel Oliverio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Timmy Ahlberg was the one to do the kick off. Gärsnäs BF's Wang Cheng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Gärsnäs BF from getting a goal against them. Justino Javiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
