Alf Enström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Szczepan Mosiniak went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 6 minutes into the match, Danone CC's goalkeeper Otávio Massa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille. Jairo Macedo charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jairo Macedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Lirarnas Lag booed when Danone CC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Macedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otávio Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christer Wästerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Massa having to interfere. Lirarnas Lag's Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, Christer Wästerberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Otávio Massa. Christer Wästerberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, Lirarnas Lag's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Macedo came free, but Alf Enström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christer Wästerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 27 minutes into the match, Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Danone CC's Otávio Massa. Otávio Massa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Júnior Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Danone CC's Alfredinho Pimenta got a free kick in the 30th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christer Wästerberg got free with Otávio Massa in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Júnior Veloso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alf Enström was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Danone CC's Jairo Macedo got a free kick in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille in the 41st minute of play forced Danone CC's goalkeeper Otávio Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Otávio Massa made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Júnior Veloso to strike the kick off in the second half. Luo Gang Zhan lost his temper 61 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Alf Enström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Recife in the 70th minute of the match. Otávio Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille in the 73rd minute of play. Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Otávio Massa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille ran back to his position shaking his head. Danone CC made a substitution. Álvaro Silva replaced Tião Esteves. Enéas Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Alf Enström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute Örjan Håning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Örjan Håning left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lirarnas Lag fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. In the 90th match minute, Danone CC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Eduardo de Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. Danone CC's Otávio Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille in the 91st minute of play. In the 96th match minute, Lirarnas Lag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessio Cinalli to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Danone CC's Alfredinho Pimenta tried to score from far away in the 97th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
