The supporters of DENVER™ booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Li Qian Jing didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boca Juniors's attentive Li Qian Jing managed to snatch the ball when Mugur Nițisor made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. Mustafa Cumhur Gök made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Gustav Stenkvist sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Mustafa Cumhur Gök managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Boca Juniors's Torgny Landin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mustafa Cumhur Gök made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Torgny Landin sent off a good shot on target. Mustafa Cumhur Gök stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Torgny Landin's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute Seb Hedges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Åke Källberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. DENVER™ were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Boca Juniors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mugur Nițisor took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Cosme Zaccardi heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Mustafa Cumhur Gök made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torgny Landin in the 38th minute. Torgny Landin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Mustafa Cumhur Gök made a huge save. DENVER™'s Mustafa Cumhur Gök proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save DENVER™ from getting a goal against them. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Seb Hedges was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sérgio Donato got free with Jens-Åke Källberg in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute, Cosme Zaccardi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 played minutes DENVER™ got a freekick which was hit by Remus Gavruță. Torgny Landin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mustafa Cumhur Gök having to make a save. 62 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Landin came free, but Mustafa Cumhur Gök reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mustafa Cumhur Gök showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torgny Landin, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Beturian in the 82nd minute of play forced DENVER™'s goalkeeper Mustafa Cumhur Gök to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as DENVER™'s Seb Hedges slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jens-Åke Källberg. That made the score 0-1 after 86 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Seb Hedges managed to get in a good position for a shot. DENVER™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Seb Hedges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens-Åke Källberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by DENVER™'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Per-Åke Lundberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Boca Juniors's players had a chance to rest.

The DENVER™ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DENVER™ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
