In the 16th minute Custódio Lima Clemente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Marfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ysmael Marfil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Custódio Lima Clemente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Custódio Lima Clemente made a precise shot to the right of Ysmael Marfil. DINAMO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 23rd match minute, Angola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Polido to maneuver through the defense. Custódio Lima Clemente struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Ysmael Marfil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Angola. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Custódio Lima Clemente made a kick off. After 53 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Otávio Penha. Angola's Miguel Cunha couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 54th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for DINAMO. Ysmael Marfil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Custódio Lima Clemente, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Lourenço Polido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duro Miner, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Angola's goal looked a bit too open when Ryszard Borcz came free, but Lourenço Polido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in DINAMO's zone, Edmundo Fontão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ysmael Marfil came out of the goal and Edmundo Fontão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute, Ryszard Borcz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DINAMO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Edmundo Fontão who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Ysmael Marfil when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Fontão in the 94th minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Edmundo Fontão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ysmael Marfil was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-3. For all the effort they put into the match, the Angola players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for DINAMO.
