If Nick Heesen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, AQUILES's Necmettin İklim got control of the ball when Nick Heesen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ágætis Byrjun's Gregorio Urtsin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jacinto Loi in the 13 minute of the game. Nick Heesen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Necmettin İklim skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 22nd match minute, AQUILES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Loi to maneuver through the defense. After 23 played minutes Ágætis Byrjun got a freekick which was hit by Nick Heesen. 27 minutes into the match, Nick Heesen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Necmettin İklim, 1-0. Necmettin İklim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nick Heesen in the 34th minute of play. Necmettin İklim was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Nick Heesen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nick Heesen really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 47 minutes into the game, AQUILES's Prospero Fix nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Georg Hagberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. AQUILES's Nicanor Bertol was substituted for Prospero Fix. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

AQUILES's Jairo Nuxila was substituted for Zhou Ying. AQUILES's Long Ke Yang was substituted for Vern Bird. The wind increased when Nicanor Bertol made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Nick Heesen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necmettin İklim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Jacinto Loi in the 67th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ágætis Byrjun's Gregorio Urtsin. After having played for 72 minutes, Long Ke Yang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AQUILES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Long Ke Yang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ágætis Byrjun made a substitution. Dennis Moermans replaced Ernst Melis. Nick Heesen kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Gregorio Urtsin made in the 79th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Michael Roebuck however managed to control. In the 83rd minute, Nick Heesen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacinto Loi made in the 86th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ágætis Byrjun's Gregorio Urtsin. Nick Heesen took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Necmettin İklim. Necmettin İklim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Abel Ekhi charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Ekhi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abel Ekhi hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Nick Heesen struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Necmettin İklim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ágætis Byrjun. AQUILES's Necmettin İklim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nick Heesen in the 98th minute of play.
