Maurício Bomba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacy Kociniewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Peep Pronk might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elmas Bueno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peep Pronk ran back to his position shaking his head. 13 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacy Kociniewski came free, but Maurício Bomba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elmas Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peep Pronk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Ignacy Kociniewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Bomba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 minutes AC LeX Luthor's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabian Eutor who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Enzo FC's Fabian Eutor to fire away a dangerous shot which Maurício Bomba despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. AC LeX Luthor's Maurício Bomba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Alario in the 21st minute of play. Peep Pronk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peep Pronk took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elmas Bueno. Elmas Bueno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Elmas Bueno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peep Pronk went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. AC LeX Luthor's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Lucas Alario scored to the left of an out of position Maurício Bomba, making the score, 1-3. 42 minutes into the game, Enzo FC's Basilio Eutor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maurício Bomba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. AC LeX Luthor's Maurício Bomba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacy Kociniewski in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Basilio Eutor to make the kick off. Basilio Eutor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Maurício Bomba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Peep Pronk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
