Erik Vale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. México Eterno MZC's Jailson Aparecido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Themos Leontiadis in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, México Eterno MZC's goalkeeper Jailson Aparecido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Allan Corrigan. Erik Vale came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by México Eterno MZC's Aristide Ciuvică. But to his dismay, Aristide Ciuvică quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Erik Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristide Ciuvică, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th match minute, Panionios MK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimosthenis Ploumoudis to maneuver through the defense. Aristide Ciuvică struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Erik Vale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for México Eterno MZC. The Panionios MK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. México Eterno MZC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Themos Leontiadis to strike the kick off in the second half. Erik Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristide Ciuvică in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Panionios MK's Themos Leontiadis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jailson Aparecido narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jailson Aparecido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Themos Leontiadis in the 70th minute of the match. México Eterno MZC's Tony Chaves was substituted for Ignacio Quiroga. México Eterno MZC's Diego Ribas was substituted for Van 张飞. A well-hit corner resulted in Thodoris Petalidis heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Richart Richardsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 played minutes México Eterno MZC got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Motta. Edmundo Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Richart Richardsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Ribas in the 93rd minute.
