In the 19thth minute of the game Karol Panasewicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Felice a Ema U.L.'s Bruno Antognoni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Karol Panasewicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Antognoni was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Blue Mountain State's Gökcan Bergin was substituted for Tang Yang Le. 76 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain State's goal looked a bit too open when Elia Scarinci came free, but Robin Sharma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. San Felice a Ema U.L.'s Bruno Antognoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Popescu in the 94th minute of play. Bruno Antognoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Popescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, George Popescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Antognoni was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3.

The San Felice a Ema U.L. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Blue Mountain State's performance. The match ended with a win for Blue Mountain State.
