Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Waldemar Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miliano Sacristán in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th match minute, Murcia Promesas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Laredo to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Murcia Promesas's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldão Silveira came free, but Jens Schrape reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens Schrape made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldão Silveira in the 88th minute of play. Jens Schrape showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piotr Rybak, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 90th play minute Miliano Sacristán came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Waldemar Quintal. 2-4. In the 96th minute of the match, Miliano Sacristán tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Waldemar Quintal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Murcia Promesas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
