If Kurt Slaghmeulders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, Haithabu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Garcia came free, but Fabian Söderström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Carlos Garcia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabian Söderström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. SITIO CITY's Zé Gato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Torres in the 11th minute of play. The throw-in from Harold Van Cruchten in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SITIO CITY's Alessandro Valente. In the 17th minute Carlos Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Söderström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Garcia in the 29th minute of play forced Haithabu FC's goalkeeper Fabian Söderström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute of the match SITIO CITY got a corner. Haithabu FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabio Onbera ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 40th minute, Carlos Garcia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rubim Jordão hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Garcia to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Haithabu FC got a freekick which was hit by Harold Van Cruchten. A collision led to Haithabu FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Harold Van Cruchten hit a great ball. Haithabu FC made a substitution. Gervasio Albonico replaced Kurt Slaghmeulders. A throw-in in the 61st minute of the game was made by Harold Van Cruchten with Simon Blomquist as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. SITIO CITY's Zé Gato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramzi Drouart in the 65th minute of play. After some careless play in the SITIO CITY defense, Ramzi Drouart kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Gato. The SITIO CITY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Gato should have stopped the shot. Haithabu FC made a substitution. Mauri Icardi replaced Jacinto Torres. SITIO CITY made a substitution. Fabian Dalman replaced Kajetan Paulista. SITIO CITY's Julio Iglesias was substituted for Chiquinho Pereira. Haithabu FC's Conrad Vrolijcx was substituted for Adrian Astigar. SITIO CITY's Luís Carvalho was substituted for Carlos Garcia. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Luís Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. SITIO CITY's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Söderström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zé Gato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauri Icardi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the game, Mauri Icardi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Zé Gato was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SITIO CITY's Zé Gato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramzi Drouart in the 93rd minute of play. Haithabu FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
