After 13 played minutes Berenjenas de Punto Fijo got a freekick which was hit by Francis Van Geel. In the 17th minute Alvaro Ramiréz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Wall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvaro Ramiréz in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tom Wall saved ☠QUINTERO☠ from getting behind. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Thibaut Vandamme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Berenjenas de Punto Fijo from getting a goal against them. A throw-in in the 24th minute of the game was made by Poli Karp with Gösta Vennerkvist as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Thibaut Vandamme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Hellström in the 30th minute. Jonathan Hellström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thibaut Vandamme came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonathan Hellström slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 30th minute. After some careless play in the ☠QUINTERO☠ defense, Alvaro Ramiréz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tom Wall. The ☠QUINTERO☠ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tom Wall should have stopped the shot. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Thibaut Vandamme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Cazorla in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Ramiréz in the 37th minute of play forced ☠QUINTERO☠'s goalkeeper Tom Wall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Alvaro Ramiréz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tom Wall. ☠QUINTERO☠'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvaro Ramiréz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Zdzislaw Rakowski hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's James Bom got a free kick in the 44th minute. Thibaut Vandamme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aldo Cazorla in the 45th minute. Tom Wall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Ramiréz, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Berenjenas de Punto Fijo were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Berenjenas de Punto Fijo made a substitution. Juli Alvarez replaced Alvaro Ramiréz. The wind increased when Jonathan Hellström made the kick off in the second half. Tom Wall made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Juli Alvarez sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute of the match Berenjenas de Punto Fijo got a corner. ☠QUINTERO☠'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dieter Denys ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind ☠QUINTERO☠'s goalkeeper Tom Wall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Lambe Kü hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute of the match, Juli Alvarez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tom Wall was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, ☠QUINTERO☠'s Tom Wall got control of the ball when Juli Alvarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Juli Alvarez took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Tom Wall to make any attempt to save it. Dieter Denys's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tom Wall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romano Galan in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thibaut Vandamme saved Berenjenas de Punto Fijo from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastián Peredo in the 92nd minute of play forced Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's goalkeeper Thibaut Vandamme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tom Wall was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Juli Alvarez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Juli Alvarez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
