When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Benjamin da Fonseca sped through Safety Center Segurança's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Enes Enescu. Enes Enescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tonhão Rodrigues's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. If Benjamin da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A throw-in in the 34th minute of the game was made by Natanael Albuquerque with Osvaldo Indartsu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 39th minute Ferreirinha dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enes Enescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enes Enescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enes Enescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin da Fonseca in the 41st minute of the match. The corner was taken by Saulão Chettle in the 47th minute. A very nice done corner allowed Lothar Matthäus to score against Enes Enescu in Safety Center Segurança's goal. 0-3 after 48 minutes. After the first half Brazil were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Enes Enescu made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Benjamin da Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. A throw-in in the 65th minute of the game was made by Natanael Albuquerque with Walmyr Ferreira as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Brazil's Maurinho Mendonça was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 67th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Celsinho Perez hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Brazil were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Safety Center Segurança's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Celsinho Perez took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Celsinho Perez got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-9. 96 minutes into the match. Brazil's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
