After a rather tough play, Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's Valeriu Stoicescu got a free kick in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Floresta Negra FC's Andy Cole sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Liu Xing Qiang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Liu Xing Qiang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Cole, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Egun Pais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafim Malta in the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Erwin Jadamowitz made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC booed when Floresta Negra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Fernando Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andy Cole in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Liu Xing Qiang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute Serafim Malta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egun Pais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafim Malta got free with Egun Pais in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Maiorano in the 87th minute of play forced Floresta Negra FC's goalkeeper Egun Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
