Alve Søderholm had in the 17thth minute some difficulties stopping Donato Goiano's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Marcovecchio in the 18th minute of play forced Chaján's goalkeeper Baldomiro Sindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alve Søderholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Blanco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donato Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chaján made a substitution. Eusebio Galindo replaced Augustas Matukas. In the 69th minute Melquiades Blanco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alve Søderholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chaján's Eleuterio Jaume got a free kick in the 70th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa SA's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Blanco came free, but Alve Søderholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Melquiades Blanco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eusebio Galindo hit a great ball. Alve Søderholm was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Melquiades Blanco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 86 minute of play. Cesar Nafarroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Baldomiro Sindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Legia Warszawa SA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chaján's performance. The match ended with a win for Chaján.
