Antonio Alzamendi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Perico Raya skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 36 minutes into the match, Saco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Qiao Qing Xiao came free, but Phillip Glerum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Perico Raya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter-Jan De Brouwer in the 37th minute. Phillip Glerum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Figari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Saco FC's Antonio Alzamendi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.
