Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Anton Gertsyk kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, FC Barcelona Lassa's Theo Fil got control of the ball when Augusto Cordario tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Barcelona Lassa's Theo Fil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save FC Barcelona Lassa from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ignacio Berenguer during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Teodosio Sergi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Teodosio Sergi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Gertsyk in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rdth minute of the game Anton Gertsyk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Velez Sarsfield's Teodosio Sergi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teodosio Sergi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radamel Falcao in the 24th minute of the match. Velez Sarsfield's Ignacio Berenguer got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodosio Sergi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anton Gertsyk's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Velez Sarsfield's zone, Anton Gertsyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodosio Sergi came out of the goal and Anton Gertsyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Radamel Falcao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Sergi having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augusto Cordario was the one to do the kick off. Velez Sarsfield's Teodosio Sergi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Gertsyk in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Velez Sarsfield's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tobiasz Dubiel was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Barcelona Lassa's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on FC Barcelona Lassa's corner Juan Feliu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Teodosio Sergi quite easily take care of the ball. Velez Sarsfield's Teodosio Sergi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Gertsyk in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute Augusto Cordario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theo Fil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute of the match Velez Sarsfield got a corner. FC Barcelona Lassa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ronan Mistral ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ronan Mistral got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Theo Fil quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Anton Gertsyk struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Teodosio Sergi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Barcelona Lassa. 67 minutes in the game Marcos Pacifico did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Olliver Van Meirhaeghe. Theo Fil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Cordario's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute, Augusto Cordario ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Theo Fil was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Velez Sarsfield made a substitution. Filomeno Montrell replaced Javier Pinola. Velez Sarsfield's Ago Tramp was substituted for Ignacio Berenguer. Velez Sarsfield's Malcolm Ödmann was substituted for Marcos Pacifico. Anton Gertsyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodosio Sergi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Merski, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When the final whistle sounded FC Barcelona Lassa left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Velez Sarsfield.
