In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mystyc FC's goalkeeper Modesto Roldanillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Osvaldo Frutos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Modesto Roldanillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Elias Oihenarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Valentin Ospetsu made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Osvaldo Frutos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Modesto Roldanillo was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Mystyc FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osvaldo Frutos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Elias Oihenarte took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentin Ospetsu. Valentin Ospetsu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Valentin Ospetsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Oihenarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Modesto Roldanillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Frutos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Frutos in the 61st minute of play forced Mystyc FC's goalkeeper Modesto Roldanillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Ospetsu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mystyc FC's Fidel Emmanuel got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the game, Ofelio Galván cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Modesto Roldanillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
