Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edvard Pilgren in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Orlandus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, IFK Fölet's Lars-Erik Hylander got control of the ball when Osvaldo Gora tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rolando Paio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Edvard Pilgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Orlandus was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Victor Orlandus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvard Pilgren in the 29th minute of the match. Börje Ahlfors might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victor Orlandus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 40th minute of the match Ove Mellberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victor Orlandus skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the ALEMCA defense, Edvard Pilgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Orlandus. The ALEMCA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Orlandus should have stopped the shot. Fernan Jurgi hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvaldo Gora made a kick off. Lars-Erik Hylander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Gora in the 51st minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, ALEMCA's goalkeeper Victor Orlandus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Geofredo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edvard Pilgren got free with Victor Orlandus in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When IFK Fölet's Edvard Pilgren in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ALEMCA's goalie prevented a goal. In the 69th match minute, ALEMCA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Asier to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Edvard Pilgren got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 71st minute, Primitivo Rivas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, one of ALEMCA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ALEMCA. When the match had been going on for 74 minutes, IFK Fölet's Ove Mellberg got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Victor Orlandus. After 79 played minutes, IFK Fölet's Ove Mellberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Victor Orlandus came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in IFK Fölet reached it. If Edvard Pilgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Victor Orlandus managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when IFK Fölet's Edvard Pilgren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When IFK Fölet's Edvard Pilgren in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ALEMCA's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Edvard Pilgren took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Victor Orlandus to make any attempt to save it. IFK Fölet's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
