With a couple of smart ball manuevers Willian Pay in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Delfino saved La Cosa Nostra from getting behind. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by La Cosa Nostra's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Domenico Di Nino was slow to take the kick. During this time Habsburgo's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Habsburgo's corner Domenico Di Nino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joel Delfino quite easily take care of the ball. In the 13th minute Hans Otterlei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Aznaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willian Pay in the 30th minute of play forced La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Joel Delfino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Habsburgo's Willian Pay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Delfino narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
