With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loco Palermo in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Emmanuel saved Madison from getting behind. Egil Sjögren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 12th minute Egil Sjögren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Emmanuel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's Egil Sjögren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernesto Emmanuel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 24 minutes in the game Alkinoos Baloukos did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Egil Sjögren. Ernesto Emmanuel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egil Sjögren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egil Sjögren in the 32nd minute of play forced Madison's goalkeeper Ernesto Emmanuel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Montesacro FC's Giacomo Casanova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ás Ronaldo in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egil Sjögren in the 39th minute of play forced Madison's goalkeeper Ernesto Emmanuel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vítor Esparteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Madison's Ernesto Emmanuel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Palermo in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Loco Palermo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 72nd minute, Egil Sjögren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernesto Emmanuel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Madison made a substitution. Benito Naldo replaced Cristobal Chumo. After 77 minutes of play, Montesacro FC's Egil Sjögren made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernesto Emmanuel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Madison's goalkeeper Ernesto Emmanuel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 84 minutes into the game, Benito Naldo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Giacomo Casanova was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Giacomo Casanova made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ás Ronaldo in the 87th minute of play. Egil Sjögren charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Egil Sjögren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Egil Sjögren kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Alejo Marcones in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Montesacro FC's Anthony Del Gatto. Ernesto Emmanuel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Egil Sjögren in the 92nd minute. Montesacro FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
