Emiliano Urbilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nilmar Paraense went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 37 minutes into the match, Corinthians Paulista's goalkeeper Anderson Trigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Moura. André Vizitiu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 38th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Lucas Mouras short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Anderson Trigo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Corinthians Paulista's Anderson Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 邵克荣 in the 39th minute of play. Emiliano Urbilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Netto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the game, one of LUSINHA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Corinthians Paulista a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Harry Potter, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of LUSINHA's Emiliano Urbilla. 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 62 played minutes LUSINHA got a freekick which was hit by André Vizitiu. 66 minutes into the match, Mitch Batshuayi notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Corinthians Paulista's Anderson Trigo. Anderson Trigo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Corinthians Paulista defense, André Vizitiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anderson Trigo. The Corinthians Paulista fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anderson Trigo should have stopped the shot. In the last second Emiliano Urbilla throw himself and got hold of the ball when Nilmar Paraense in the 78thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The supporters of LUSINHA booed when Corinthians Paulista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilmar Paraense didn't get a good kick on the ball. 邵克荣 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Corinthians Paulista's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
