The corner went over the outstretched arms of Fortinducto's goalie and right to Abdi Saygın Özhan. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Fortinducto's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 45th minute, Evlampiy Bestuzhev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gleb Pavlenko in the 47th minute of play forced Fortinducto's goalkeeper Tomás Montel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gleb Pavlenko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
