Urban Cedergård tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Frosta Härad IF's zone, Zenon Furgat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urban Cedergård came out of the goal and Zenon Furgat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Frosta Härad IF getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Göran Gustavsson hit a great ball. Ryszard Iwaszko charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ryszard Iwaszko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 8 played minutes FC Star City got a freekick which was hit by Ryszard Iwaszko. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Ahlgren got free with Waldemar Markowski in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute, Frosta Härad IF's Victor Ahlgren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Göran Gustavsson got free with Waldemar Markowski in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the game, Claes Granqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frosta Härad IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Star City the free kick. With his leg Waldemar Markowski managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Frosta Härad IF's Victor Ahlgren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 29 minutes into the match, Frosta Härad IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacy Galagan came free, but Urban Cedergård reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christer Tönnberg's late challenge caught a FC Star City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christer Tönnberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, Christer Tönnberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waldemar Markowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Gustavsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, FC Star City's goalkeeper Waldemar Markowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Ahlgren. Bertil Cedergård received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Waldemar Markowski came out and tried to block the shot, but Bertil Cedergård slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 41st minute. Waldemar Markowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Ahlgren in the 46th minute. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Star City's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Karl-Ove Henriksson was slow to take the kick. During this time Frosta Härad IF's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Frosta Härad IF's Tommy Lindsten got a free kick in the 48th minute.

In the 56th minute, Benedykt Wydrych hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute of the match Christer Tönnberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Waldemar Markowski skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Victor Ahlgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Waldemar Markowski was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. In the 66th minute, Bertil Cedergård got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Star City's Waldemar Markowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Ahlgren in the 78th minute of play. Waldemar Markowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christer Tönnberg in the 80th minute of the match. After 82 played minutes Frosta Härad IF got a freekick which was hit by Claes Granqvist. Artur Jaks blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Urban Cedergård having to make a save. FC Star City's Waldemar Markowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Ahlgren in the 89th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Frosta Härad IF got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Tunström. After some careless play in the Frosta Härad IF defense, Ignacy Galagan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Urban Cedergård. The Frosta Härad IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Urban Cedergård should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Frosta Härad IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Star City had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
