But to his dismay, Claudiu Becheanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to The Valar getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Toader Bălace hit a great ball. The Valar's Mugurel Seţeanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save The Valar from getting a goal against them. Mugurel Seţeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavlos Kazakis in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute Claudiu Becheanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostas Tsioris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mugurel Seţeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavlos Kazakis in the 53rd minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, Koulis Saveris was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Milan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Valar the free kick. Koulis Saveris kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Koulis Saveris hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Claudiu Becheanu came free, but Kostas Tsioris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 66th minute of the match Koulis Saveris completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Koulis Saveris a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Nikos Kosmidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pavlos Papazacharias kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. AC Milan's Kostas Tsioris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudiu Becheanu in the 74th minute of play. Alekos Volakis was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 75 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of AC Milan:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of The Valar:s goal. AC Milan:s Kostas Tsioris showed great skill when he stopped Claudiu Becheanu:s penalty. Kostas Tsioris was a little too slow when Vintilă Coroian got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-2. A collision led to The Valar getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Toader Bălace hit a great ball. Fanis Panousis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89thth minute of the game Fanis Panousis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Valar's Mugurel Seţeanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Claudiu Becheanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kostas Tsioris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, AC Milan's Orestis Katsadourakis got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 92nd minute Claudiu Becheanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostas Tsioris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, AC Milan's Kostas Tsioris got control of the ball when Claudiu Becheanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched The Valar eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
