Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bengt-Rune Fastesson to make the kick off. Marcelino Flor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hildeberto Carvalho in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Wen Hai Le hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute Bengt-Rune Fastesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Flor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's José Sand was substituted for Yu Jian Tian. Federico Kalinowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! José Sand took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Federico Kalinowski. Federico Kalinowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 92 minutes into the game, Maximino Cabezon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Marcelino Flor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
