Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Adrianinho Meirelles got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zheng Chen Kang in the 3rd minute of play forced ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's goalkeeper Vasco Goycochea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Adrianinho Meirelles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristian Mergildo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrianinho Meirelles in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristian Mergildo saved C.A. LANUS from getting behind. Adrianinho Meirelless short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Cristian Mergildo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 17 minutes into the game, Adrianinho Meirelles recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristian Mergildo. Adrianinho Meirelles showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Per-Åke Saâdallah hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Cristian Mergildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrianinho Meirelles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pang Xing Lang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vasco Goycochea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. After 27 minutes ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adamantios Geronimidis who took care of the corner kick. In the 32nd minute, ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Adrianinho Meirelles ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristian Mergildo. Cristian Mergildo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. 36 minutes into the match, Adrianinho Meirelles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristian Mergildo. C.A. LANUS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrianinho Meirelles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. 39 minutes into the game, Per-Åke Saâdallah was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. LANUS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ the free kick. Cristian Mergildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrianinho Meirelles, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. With a little luck, C.A. LANUS's Cristian Mergildo got control of the ball when Adrianinho Meirelles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vasco Goycochea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zheng Chen Kang, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. C.A. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adamantios Geronimidis made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A. LANUS's goalkeeper Cristian Mergildo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 54th minute of the match ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ got a corner. C.A. LANUS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ronaldo Cosme ran over to the corner to take the kick. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ made a substitution. Mai Bin Kuan replaced Adrianinho Meirelles. After a rather tough play, ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Muhittin Emek got a free kick in the 65th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mai Bin Kuan in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Mergildo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kauã Nascimento hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Carlos Ancelotti was substituted for Ronaldo Cosme. After a rather tough play, ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Kauã Nascimento got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Vasco Goycochea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adamantios Geronimidis in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute Mai Bin Kuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Mergildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mai Bin Kuan took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristian Mergildo. Cristian Mergildo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. 86 minutes into the match, ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's goalkeeper Vasco Goycochea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adamantios Geronimidis. Oliverios Gayangos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vasco Goycochea made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Adamantios Geronimidis sent off a good shot on target. 92 minutes into the match, C.A. LANUS's goal looked a bit too open when Mai Bin Kuan came free, but Cristian Mergildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Mergildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mai Bin Kuan in the 94th minute of the match. When José Serrizuela came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the C.A. LANUS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Serrizuela couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ had won after a very even match.
