Cléberson de Carvalho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maël Charras's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. The audience was convinced that Yoann Poiret's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cléberson de Carvalho was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 20th minute, Ramiro Martins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Tenentes's Sandrinho Silva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Réda Sourisseau. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. In the 25th minute, Steve Gautherot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Sandrinho Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tenentes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Mauro Vergílio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Réda Sourisseau firmly grabbed it by the left post. Réda Sourisseau came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Tenentes's Sandrinho Silva. But to his dismay, Sandrinho Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 45 minutes into the match, Les Herbiers VF's goalkeeper Réda Sourisseau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauro Vergílio. In the 46th minute, Tenentes's Sandrinho Silva dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sandrinho Silva made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Louis Motard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Les Herbiers VF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tenentes the free kick. Louis Motard kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the game, Mauro Vergílio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Réda Sourisseau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Réda Sourisseau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandrinho Silva in the 66th minute of play forced Les Herbiers VF's goalkeeper Réda Sourisseau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Les Herbiers VF's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Diniz came free, but Réda Sourisseau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Réda Sourisseau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Vergílio in the 70th minute of the match. Les Herbiers VF's Réda Sourisseau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandrinho Silva in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Angelo Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tenentes's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Diniz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Réda Sourisseau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Waldemar Paraense hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute Sandrinho Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Réda Sourisseau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, Les Herbiers VF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Louis Motard to maneuver through the defense. Waldemar Paraense did an outstanding performance 85 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 8-0 to the right of an irritated Réda Sourisseau in the goal. In the 89th minute, Ramiro Martins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tenentes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Les Herbiers VF's Réda Sourisseau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Vergílio in the 92nd minute of play. Cléberson de Carvalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yoann Poiret in the 97th minute. Tenentes walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
