In the 7thth minute of the game Joaquin Flores who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Rose 1979's Karl-Johan Ahlqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 8th minute Quinito Rosas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Black Rose 1979's Davor Šuker got a free kick in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quinito Rosas in the 14th minute of play forced Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Ahlqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Davor Šuker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Llorenc Silvestre was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Eliseo Berriotxoa in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Llorenc Silvestre, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gaufred Betanzos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llorenc Silvestre having to interfere. Eliseo Berriotxoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quinito Rosas in the 36th minute of play. When East Telde United's Anísio Arósio in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Black Rose 1979's goalie prevented a goal. Eliseo Berriotxoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llorenc Silvestre having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eliseo Berriotxoa was the one to do the kick off. Llorenc Silvestre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Berriotxoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anísio Arósio in the 66th minute of play. Llorenc Silvestre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseo Berriotxoa went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anísio Arósio in the 75th minute. Llorenc Silvestre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaufred Betanzos, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute.
