Wilson Andrade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Andrade in the 8th minute of play. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Andrade in the 10th minute of the match. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by GLADIADORES's Wilson Andrade. But to his dismay, Wilson Andrade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, GLADIADORES's goal looked a bit too open when D.J. Gol came free, but Thomas Ravelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Black Rose 1979's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Andrade came free, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Ravelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davor Šuker in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davor Šuker in the 23rd minute of play forced GLADIADORES's goalkeeper Thomas Ravelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 played minutes GLADIADORES got a freekick which was hit by Batu Cem Ekinci. Wilson Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Johan Ahlqvist having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Andrade in the 29th minute of play forced Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Ahlqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by D.J. Gol in the 31st minute of play forced GLADIADORES's goalkeeper Thomas Ravelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 37 minutes into the game, Wilson Andrade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wilson Andrade took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Johan Ahlqvist. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomas Ravelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from D.J. Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half GLADIADORES were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilson Andrade stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Joel Venceslao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Gombal in the 57th minute of play forced GLADIADORES's goalkeeper Thomas Ravelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Enekoitz got a throw-in 63 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Enzo-Nicolás Pérez. In the 71st minute, Wilson Andrade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. GLADIADORES's Anacleto Rozarius was substituted for Wilson Andrade. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched GLADIADORES eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
