The coaching staff of El Pulpo Paceño protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Christobal Abecia had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in El Pulpo Paceño fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! El Pulpo Paceño:s Nicanor Ascencio showed great skill when he stopped Lucas Ugutz:s penalty. Braulio Manny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svetoslav Genkov in the 13th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Lucas Ugutz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carapa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Ugutz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicanor Ascencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Braulio Manny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Onega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicanor Ascencio made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Lucas Ugutz sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd match minute, Carapa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romualdas Motiekaitis to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th match minute, Carapa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Gonzalez to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Börje Hamnberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romualdas Motiekaitis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Nicanor Ascencio made a huge save. In the 40th play minute Lucas Ugutz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nicanor Ascencio. 1-0. With a little luck, El Pulpo Paceño's Nicanor Ascencio got control of the ball when Lucas Ugutz tried to sneak it across the goal line. A throw-in in the 45th minute of the game was made by Kamil Glik with Aristides Lluc as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Lucas Ugutz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carapa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Ugutz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicanor Ascencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Onega was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, El Pulpo Paceño's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Ugutz came free, but Nicanor Ascencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Lluc in the 54th minute of play forced Carapa FC's goalkeeper Braulio Manny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Carapa FC's Braulio Manny got control of the ball when Daniel Onega tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carapa FC made a substitution. Virgilio Laffitte replaced Rangel Machev. Braulio Manny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Lluc in the 68th minute of the match. Nicanor Ascencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Ugutz in the 73rd minute of play. Daniel Onega could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Braulio Manny made a huge save. In the 78th match minute, Carapa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alain Marquez to maneuver through the defense. Alain Marquez hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Braulio Manny stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Onega's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Joseph Lockwood could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Braulio Manny made a huge save. After 92 played minutes El Pulpo Paceño got a freekick which was hit by Celino Abeijon. Teofilo Gonzalez, 92 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Braulio Manny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Onega in the 95th minute of play.
