After 5 played minutes Bitcoin Elbląg got a freekick which was hit by Przemyslaw Wojtkiewicz. Joar Scheie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Nevada in the 9th minute of play. In the 17th minute Sven-Olof Vestlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boruc Frankowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CAN ERZURUM's Joar Scheie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Nevada in the 21st minute of play. Bitcoin Elbląg were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after CAN ERZURUM's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dawid Sliwinski took the corner. If Pan Wei Quan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bitcoin Elbląg's Boruc Frankowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 28th minute of play. Boruc Frankowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Olof Vestlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, CAN ERZURUM's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Nevada came free, but Joar Scheie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bitcoin Elbląg's zone, Sven-Olof Vestlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boruc Frankowski came out of the goal and Sven-Olof Vestlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Sven-Olof Vestlund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Boruc Frankowski. Bitcoin Elbląg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven-Olof Vestlund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Pan Wei Quan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joar Scheie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Nevada, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half CAN ERZURUM were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Sven-Olof Vestlund made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Nevada in the 53rd minute of play forced CAN ERZURUM's goalkeeper Joar Scheie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joar Scheie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Nevada, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Aybars Demirci was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. CAN ERZURUM made a substitution. In the 92nd minute, one of CAN ERZURUM:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CAN ERZURUM. CAN ERZURUM:s Joar Scheie showed great skill when he stopped Dawid Sliwinski:s penalty.
