Oakcroft Thrashers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Harry Ekeberg in the 4th minute. A nice corner shot did that Harry Ekeberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fumo Canuto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fumo Canuto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingemar Jonasson in the 5th minute of the match. Christoffer Modig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mwai Emilio Otieno, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Fumo Canuto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Jonasson in the 10th minute of play. With a little luck, George Weahs Academy's Fumo Canuto got control of the ball when Jörn Holm tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th minute of the match Oakcroft Thrashers got a corner. George Weahs Academy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Harry Ekeberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Oakcroft Thrashers's corner Leo Nykvist fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fumo Canuto quite easily take care of the ball. In the 14th minute of the match Oakcroft Thrashers got a corner. George Weahs Academy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Harry Ekeberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Burgos in the 20th minute of play forced Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Christoffer Modig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christoffer Modig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franco Burgos's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Saturnino Acevedo lost his temper 25 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 24 minutes into the game, one of George Weahs Academy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 26 minutes, Oakcroft Thrashers's Ingemar Jonasson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Fumo Canuto. George Weahs Academy's Fumo Canuto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingemar Jonasson in the 31st minute of play. Christoffer Modig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ngina Njoroge, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 38th minute Ngina Njoroge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Modig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Weahs Academy's Fumo Canuto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save George Weahs Academy from getting a goal against them. Sorin Capșuneanu charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sorin Capșuneanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Andersson in the 45th minute of play forced George Weahs Academy's goalkeeper Fumo Canuto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Franco Burgos to strike the kick off in the second half. Ingemar Jonasson charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ingemar Jonasson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingemar Jonasson in the 55th minute of play forced George Weahs Academy's goalkeeper Fumo Canuto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, George Weahs Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Jörn Holm came free, but Fumo Canuto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fumo Canuto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingemar Jonasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ingemar Jonasson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fumo Canuto was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Fumo Canuto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Andersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. During the 64th minute of the match Ingemar Jonasson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ingemar Jonasson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 65 played minutes Oakcroft Thrashers got a freekick which was hit by Ingemar Jonasson. Christoffer Modig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Burgos in the 71st minute of play. Jörn Holm kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Oakcroft Thrashers's Ludwig Ståhlman got a free kick in the 90th minute.
