With an extended leg and a bit of luck Måns Sigfridsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edmund Scislowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 19 minutes into the match, UFC STEAUA's goal looked a bit too open when Lewis James came free, but Costică Petran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Albert Hodorog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nistor Fenici in the 28th minute of play forced Skollholmen FC's goalkeeper Måns Sigfridsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to UFC STEAUA getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Toader Ipate hit a great ball. Costică Petran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmund Scislowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albert Hodorog's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Måns Sigfridsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Costică Petran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lewis James, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Inge Hake might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Costică Petran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Inge Hake ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the UFC STEAUA defense, Lewis James kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Costică Petran. The UFC STEAUA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Costică Petran should have stopped the shot. Edmund Scislowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Costică Petran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nistor Fenici to strike the kick off in the second half. Edmund Scislowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Costică Petran managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Skollholmen FC's Edmund Scislowicz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Edmund Scislowicz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 68th playminute. Skollholmen FC made a substitution. Lukas Johnsson replaced Lewis James. After having played for 73 minutes, Inge Hake managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skollholmen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inge Hake was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Måns Sigfridsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nistor Fenici in the 91st minute of the match. Skollholmen FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
