The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Augustin Tilincă the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of GoalHunters protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Augustin Tilincă had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Costică Petran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Nistor Fenici cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Simion Pop was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Simion Pop was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emil Alexa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 82 minute of play. A collision led to UFC STEAUA getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Toader Ipate hit a great ball. In the 86th match minute, UFC STEAUA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Alexa to maneuver through the defense. GoalHunters's Jan-Ove Falkrans got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, GoalHunters's Fred Penha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Costică Petran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by UFC STEAUA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wang Rong was slow to take the kick. During this time GoalHunters's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Wang Rong got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Costică Petran quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched UFC STEAUA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
