After a rather tough play, Szajk LC's Siniša Mihajlović got a free kick in the 16th minute. Gez Little's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Özdemir Babayiğit skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gez Little in the 26th minute of play forced Szajk LC's goalkeeper Özdemir Babayiğit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Ampthill FC fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Ampthill FC's Gez Little looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. When Miklós Bogdán fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Szajk LC's protests and gave Miklós Bogdán a yellow card for diving instead. 61 minutes into the match, Szajk LC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Playo came free, but Özdemir Babayiğit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Szajk LC's Obi Neba got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Harvey Paget showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miklós Bogdán, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute, Jack Potts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Szajk LC's Özdemir Babayiğit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gez Little in the 72nd minute of play. In the 79th minute Gez Little shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özdemir Babayiğit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Szajk LC's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Potts came free, but Özdemir Babayiğit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Szajk LC's goalkeeper Özdemir Babayiğit, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Szajk LC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
