The audience was convinced that Bohdan Tilinger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Batalla was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in FC DAC 1904's zone, Nicolás De la Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Korn's Ramon Diaz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Ramon Diaz scored 4-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michal Praženica, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Andrej Maliniak hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Michal Praženica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Diaz in the 46th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richard Dzuba made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, FC DAC 1904's Richard Dzuba dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. A collision led to FC DAC 1904 getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Branislav Kubičko hit a great ball. Michal Praženica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Diaz in the 55th minute of play. Michal Praženica came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by A. Korn's Ramon Diaz. But to his dismay, Ramon Diaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Ramon Diaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michal Praženica. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramon Diaz ran back to his position shaking his head. Michal Praženica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Diaz in the 68th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richard Dzuba in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Batalla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute Ramon Diaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michal Praženica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The long shot by Matúš Horváth in the 74th minute really tested Augusto Batalla's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
