Dinamo Brasov's Mehmet Emrah Oktan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Radoslav Zobor in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 18 minutes into the game, Dinamo Brasov's Necip Fazıl Üstek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Radoslav Zobor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Maksymilian Banaszak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ctibor Sepeši, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When Dinamo Brasov's Manole Frunză in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Maksymilian Banaszak was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Matúš Smrečko capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Matúš Smrečko really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

With a little luck, FC DAC 1904's Radoslav Zobor got control of the ball when Manole Frunză tried to sneak it across the goal line. Radoslav Zobor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisc Bîndean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juli Alvarez in the 64th minute of play forced Dinamo Brasov's goalkeeper Maksymilian Banaszak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radoslav Zobor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manole Frunză in the 66th minute. Maksymilian Banaszak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ctibor Sepeši, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Radoslav Zobor had great luck who in the 69thth minute grab hold of the ball when Basarab Tiberian from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 82nd minute, Basarab Tiberian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Radoslav Zobor was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Dinamo Brasov's Maksymilian Banaszak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladislav Kuba in the 87th minute of play. Horia Nasta kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Radoslav Zobor made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Manole Frunză sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, FC DAC 1904's Peter Černý got a free kick in the 96th minute. In the 97th minute Manole Frunză shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radoslav Zobor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinamo Brasov played a much better game than FC DAC 1904 and deserved their victory. The FC DAC 1904 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
