Hélio O'Connell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Ciudad in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, one of Maritek FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Maritek FC. 11 minutes into the game, Ciudad Tao FC's Tomas Ciudad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hélio O'Connell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Ferruccio Zarillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maritek FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferruccio Zarillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vincenzo Landa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ferruccio Zarillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felice Tacco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vincenzo Landa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Adrian Gråberg charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Gråberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adrian Gråberg kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Ettore Santo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Vincenzo Landa made a huge save.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ettore Santo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hélio O'Connell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Ciudad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Filippo Lucente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vincenzo Landa was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Salomon Quaade fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ciudad Tao FC's protests and gave Salomon Quaade a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ciudad Tao FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Salomon Quaade hit a great ball. Tomás Moita took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vincenzo Landa. Vincenzo Landa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Vincenzo Landa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Moita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Ettore Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincenzo Landa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Maritek FC's Hélio O'Connell got control of the ball when Salomon Quaade tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maritek FC's Hélio O'Connell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miron Zabel in the 91st minute of play.
