An unexpectedly hard shot by Deng Zhen Chen in the 15th minute of play forced Revolución Joao FC's goalkeeper Olavo Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olavo Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deng Zhen Chen, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 23rdth minute of the game Bandit Idaman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Revolución Joao FC's Olavo Velloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th minute Youssef Malek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lev Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giles Janda took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Olavo Velloso. Leandro Bartoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Lev Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Glintung FC reached it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Youssef Malek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gavril Stoican in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lev Buffon saved Glintung FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Gavril Stoican's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lev Buffon was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. In the 81st minute of the match Revolución Joao FC got a corner. Glintung FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aguinaga Casasola ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lev Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavril Stoican in the 85th minute of the match. Lev Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aguinaga Casasola in the 93rd minute of play. Olavo Velloso made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Deng Zhen Chen sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute Aguinaga Casasola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lev Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 97 minutes Glintung FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aguinaga Casasola who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Revolución Joao FC's Azconzábal Morante to fire away a dangerous shot which Lev Buffon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
