A collision led to Cometuétano getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Emeterio Ladra hit a great ball. Miks Lecis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Sarmento in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th match minute, Vila Mascote FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fabiano Eger to maneuver through the defense. Filip Vestnes, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Argenis Coira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of William Rosa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cometuétano's Miks Lecis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Mota in the 13th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Vila Mascote FC's goalkeeper William Rosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Argenis Coira. 18 minutes into the match, Cometuétano's goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Mota came free, but Miks Lecis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Mota in the 25th minute of play forced Cometuétano's goalkeeper Miks Lecis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. William Rosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anxelu Esteban went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Cometuétano's Miks Lecis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhang Zheng Liang in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Kaká Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miks Lecis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jean Sarmento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kaká Mota got free with Miks Lecis in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zhang Zheng Liang's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Miks Lecis firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 62nd minute, Cometuétano's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zhang Zheng Liang fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Miks Lecis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Sarmento, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. William Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Argenis Coira in the 70th minute of play. After 71 minutes Vila Mascote FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Filip Vestnes who took care of the corner kick. Cometuétano's Filip Vestnes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but William Rosa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Francisco Baiano in the 73rd minute of play forced Cometuétano's goalkeeper Miks Lecis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miks Lecis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zhang Zheng Liang in the 76th minute. Jean Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Miks Lecis was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Kaká Mota capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kaká Mota really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1.
