In the 2nd match minute, Natus Vincere F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjetil-André Digernes to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Fălciu booed when Natus Vincere F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taribo West didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Natus Vincere F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Seţeanu came free, but Zorko Quack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stelian Jurcuț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Pedro Domingues made a great header on Natus Vincere F.C.'s corner, it was just that Fălciu's Stelian Jurcuț managed to reach the ball for a save. After 8 minutes, Kjetil-André Digernes made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Fălciu's Stelian Jurcuț tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Stelian Jurcuț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albeiro Usuriaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Seţeanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Zorko Quack made a huge save. Zorko Quack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabin Comșa, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Fălciu's goal looked a bit too open when Albeiro Usuriaga came free, but Stelian Jurcuț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natus Vincere F.C.'s Zorko Quack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabin Comșa in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Natus Vincere F.C.'s Gustaw Jaraczeski got a free kick in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Natus Vincere F.C.'s goalkeeper Zorko Quack had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sabin Comșa. In the 37th minute, Luca Ceaușescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fălciu made a substitution. Codruț Ababei replaced Sebastian Seţeanu. Marian Pascaru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Zorko Quack made a huge save. Stelian Jurcuț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjetil-André Digernes, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute of the match Natus Vincere F.C. got a corner. Fălciu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedro Domingues ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Pedro Domingues almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fălciu's Stelian Jurcuț did a great save. Natus Vincere F.C.'s Zorko Quack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabin Comșa in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Domingues to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Natus Vincere F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Adam Babarada came free, but Zorko Quack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sabin Comșa scored 1-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zorko Quack, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stelian Jurcuț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albeiro Usuriaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Natus Vincere F.C.'s Albeiro Usuriaga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stelian Jurcuț. Stelian Jurcuț yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Natus Vincere F.C. made a substitution. Fulgencio Matia replaced Kjetil-André Digernes. Natus Vincere F.C.'s Gualterio Mede was substituted for Pedro Domingues. Stelian Jurcuț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albeiro Usuriaga in the 73rd minute of play. Albeiro Usuriaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 76th minute Albeiro Usuriaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stelian Jurcuț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stelian Jurcuț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albeiro Usuriaga in the 79th minute of play. Stelian Jurcuț came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Natus Vincere F.C.'s Albeiro Usuriaga. But to his dismay, Albeiro Usuriaga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Stelian Jurcuț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albeiro Usuriaga in the 89th minute of play. Zorko Quack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codruț Ababei in the 92nd minute of play. The Natus Vincere F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
